The spring season culminated a successful year of intercollegiate athletics as Hope College won the Commissioner's Cup for having the best cumulative men's and women's program in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). Hope also finished first in the MIAA men's and women's all-sports standings.

It marked the 28th time in school history that Hope has won the coveted MIAA Commissioner's Cup, the most of any member school.

Fifteen athletes lettered all four years in their respective spring sport. They were: Emily Adams of Hudsonville (softball), Kyle Barnes of Central Lake (track), Laura Borovsky of Livonia (track), Erin Bradley of Hastings (women's tennis), Nate Brandsen of Grosse Pointe (baseball), Jon Edmondson of Grand Rapids (baseball), Anneliese Fox of Alma (women's tennis), Libby Hammon of Allegan (softball), Mike Howes of Alma (baseball), Josh Hundt of Lansing (baseball), Andy Phillips of WhitePigeon (men's tennis), Andy Ruemenapp of Petoskey (men's tennis), Matthew Svoboda of Grand Haven (track), Maureen Warfield of Jackson (track), Jeff Weber of Grandville (track).
