Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

The Hope Republicans will welcome Michigan Gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos to Hope College on Monday, Oct. 30 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the DeWitt Theatre. The candidate will discuss Faith, Values, and Public Policy.

The public is invited to the discussion. Admission is free.

As a successful international businessman, Dick DeVos has led Grand Rapids-based Alticor, bringing jobs and revenue to Michigan. DeVos recognizes that "for the first time, this state's economic future has become disconnected from the national economy," and he has pledged to change that if elected governor.

The DeWitt Theatre is located on Columbia Avenue at 12th Street. The theatre doors will open at 9:00 a.m. The theatre is handicapped accessible.
