Two Hope runners have qualified for the NCAA Division III men's cross country championships to be held next Saturday, Nov. 18 in Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio.

Two Hope runners have qualified for the NCAA Division III men's cross country championships to be held next Saturday, Nov. 18 in Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio.

Senior Ryan TerLouw of Pella, Iowa and junior Seth Weener of Grandville, Mich. are among seven individual qualifers who will join teams from Calvin, Heidelberg, Mount Union and Ohio Northern in representing the Great Lakes region at nationals. The field at nationals will include 32 teams of seven runners and 56 individual qualifiers.

TerLouw finished fifth and Weener was 16th among 231 runners at the regional meet this past Saturday. Hope finished fifth as a team and just missed out in qualifying as an at-large entry for nationals.

TerLouw is a two-time NCAA track and field All-Americans in the 1,500 meter run. TerLouw and Weener both achieved All-MIAA first team honors this fall.
