The Hope College men's tennis team has received All-Academic honors for the 11th time in the last 12 years from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).  To qualify for the award, the team needed to maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.20.  Coach Steve Gorno's team had a 3.351 GPA.

The Hope College men's tennis team has received All-Academic honors for the 11th time in the last 12 years from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).  To qualify for the award, the team needed to maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.20.  Coach Steve Gorno's team had a 3.351 GPA.

Five players received recognition as ITA Scholar Athletes for maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.50 GPA.  Honored for the second year were juniors Cameron DeHaan of Cadillac (Cadillac HS) and John Schlotz of Kirkwood, Mo.  Also honored were sophomore John Gardner of Granville, Ohio (Granville HS), 2007 graduate Stephen Malvitz of Ada (East Kentwood HS), and sophomore Jeff Vredenburg of Grand Rapids (Forest Hills Northern HS).
