The Hope College cheerleaders will host a Junior Cheerleader Camp for children in grades K-6 on Saturday, Sept. 20, outside the Richard and Helen DeVos Fieldhouse starting at 10 a.m.

The junior-cheerleader participants will learn basic cheering skills along with a choreographed routine to upbeat music.  They will perform the routine at approximately 2:30 p.m. during the Hope women's volleyball game at the fieldhouse.

Registration costs $25, and includes a camp t-shirt and a family pass to the volleyball game.  The registration form is available online at www.hope.edu/pr/athletics/cheer and also during weekday business hours in the department of kinesiology office in the fieldhouse.  Registration materials must reach the office on or before Monday, Sept. 15.

The camp will take place on the west outdoor patio facing Lincoln Avenue) of the DeVos Fieldhouse, which is located at 222 Fairbanks Ave., between Ninth and 11th streets.  In the event of rain the camp will be held in the Dow Center, located on 13th Street at Columbia Avenue.
