The Hope College admissions office will sponsor visitation days for prospective college students beginning on Friday, Sept. 26.

While the college does not require personal visits to campus by prospective students, it does strongly recommend them.  Students and parents are encouraged to visit the Admissions Office, where campus tours, class visits and faculty conferences can be arranged.

Visitation days are held several times through the year and provide high school students, transfer students, and their parents an opportunity to experience a day on campus.  Activities available include attending class, academic information sessions, eating lunch in the dining hall, and having a guided tour of the campus.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Maas Conference Center.  Pre-registration is preferred and can be arranged by calling (616) 395-7850.  Those attending are asked to enter the Maas Center from the south side of Phelps Hall, which is located on the corner of 11th Street and Columbia Avenue.

Participation is free.  A complimentary lunch is provided for students and parents wishing to eat lunch in the dining hall.

Dates for future visitation days during the 2008-09 school year are Oct. 3, Oct. 17, Oct. 24, Nov. 7, Nov. 14, Nov. 21, Jan. 19, Jan. 30, Feb. 16 and Feb. 27.  Junior days are scheduled for Friday, March 27, Friday, April 3, and Friday, April 17, 2009.
