The Flying Dutchmen have clinched the regular season championship of the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference (MCHC) with a 12-3-0-1 record. This is the third title in school history and the second won outright. It also puts Hope as the #1 seed for the MCHC playoffs which begin February 25th vs. Northwood (#8 seed) at the Midland Civic Arena.

Hope is also the #1 seed in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) North Region. That ranking gives Hope a bye through the regionals, allowing the Flying Dutchmen to go directly to the national tournament in Ft. Myers, FL on March 10-13.

A club sport at Hope, the Flying Dutchmen are 19-4-1-1 overall. A year ago the team finished ninth in the nation.
