Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Three members of the Hope College softball team have been presented all-conference honors by the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA).

Sophomore centerfielder Stephanie Faber of Byron Center (Grand Rapids South Christian HS) has been presented All-MIAA first team honors.

Presented All-MIAA second team recognition were junior designated hitter Kori Nieuwsma of Lakeville, Minn. (Bethany Christian Academy) and junior second baseman Andrea Reinecke of Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids HS).

The Flying Dutch, coached by Karla Wolters, tied for fourth place in the MIAA standings and posted an overall 20-18 record.
