Hope College will host a "Safe Halloween" for children, featuring carnival games and
trick-or-treating in the Maas Center, on Monday, Oct. 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
All children from the community age 12 and under from the community are invited to
the free event, and no registration is necessary. Children must be accompanied by
an adult, and are asked to wear a costume.
The children will be invited to play a number of carnival games that will be set up
in the Maas Center auditorium and/or trick-or-treat for candy at uniquely decorated
booths in the conference room next door. This year trick-or-treating will not occur
in individual residence halls.
Children and parents are asked to enter the Maas Center from Columbia Avenue. The
Maas Center is located at 264 Columbia Ave., facing 11th Street.
