The Hope College volleyball team was the Division III national leader in two statistical categories, according to the final 2012 season report of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Coach Becky Schmidt's Flying Dutch were ranked seventh in the final Division III poll of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) en route to posting a 29-5 season record.

Statistically, Hope led the 420 Division III teams in assists per set (12.82) and kills per set (13.88). The Flying Dutch also ranked eighth in hitting percentage (.268) and 32nd in blocks per set (2.12).

Sophomore All-American outside hitter Jenna Grasmeyer of Hudsonville (Unity Christian HS) ranked fifth among of Division III players in kills per set (4.36) and eighth in points per set (5.01). Grasmeyer set a Hope single season mark for kills per set.

Senior All-American setter Greer Bratschie of Grand Rapids (East Grand Rapids HS) ranked ninth in Division III for assists per set (10.74). Greer established the Hope career record for assists per set with an average of 10.49.
