The Hope College Orchestra will perform on Friday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
The concert will highlight the artistic talents of pianist Adam Clark of the Hope music faculty. The program will feature work by Aaron Copland, Nicholas Rimsky-Korsakov and Edward Macdowell.
The concert will open with the orchestra performing "La grande Paque Russe (Russian Easter Overture) Op. 36,” by Nicholas Rimsky-Korsakow. Continuing the program, the orchestra will perform three dance episodes from “Rodeo,” by Aaron Copland. Concluding the concert, Clark will perform the “Piano Concerto No. 2 in D minor, Op. 23,” by Edward Macdowell.
Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located at 277 College Ave., on College Avenue at 12th Street.
