Jenna Grasmeyer

Hope College’s Jenna Grasmeyer has been selected Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Volleyball Player the week, the league announced today.

The junior outside hitter from Jenison (Hudsonville Unity Christian HS) totaled 48 kills, a hitting percentage of .354, 14 digs and five blocks in leading the Flying Dutch to a 2-1 record in MIAA competition for the week.

Grasmeyer smacked 20 kills in a sweep of Adrian Saturday and added 17 kills and three blocks in a sweep of Saint Mary’s.

Grasmeyer is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time this season and fifth time in her career.
