The Hope College Wind Ensemble will perform on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The public is invited.  Admission is free.

The Wind Ensemble’s final concert of the semester will feature two pieces involving imagery in music.  The first, Martin Ellerby’s “Paris Sketches,” portrays four areas in Paris.  The second, Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition,” takes works of art and translates them into music.

Additionally, the Hope College Percussion Ensemble will make its debut, playing “Angels of the Apocalypse,” by David Gillingham.

Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located at 277 College Ave., on College Avenue at 12th Street.
