Addressing the theme, “The Value and Relevance of a Faith-Based Liberal Arts Education in the 21st Century,” Hope’s Fall 2015 Presidential Colloquium featured a Presidents’ Panel Discussion and a keynote address from author and New York Times columnist David Brooks.

Brooks received an honorary degree (Doctor of Humane Letters) from the college and spoke to a sold-out crowd at Dimnent Chapel. View the photo gallery.

The Presidential Colloquium was initiated in 2013 by President John Knapp. The recurring lecture series brings prominent, internationally known thinkers to Hope to share their insights on the academy, leadership and global civic engagement.
