The Flying Dutchmen host the University of Michigan’s ACHA team on Friday, October 12 at Griff’s IceHouse West, 4444 Holland Avenue, in Holland Township.

The banner-raising ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:10 p.m. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.

The ACHA championship cup will be on display at Griff’s Icehouse West. There will be a free team poster giveaway as part of the festivities.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students. Children under 12 are free. Seating is limited.

Head coach Chris Van Timmeren and the Flying Dutchmen captured the first ACHA national title in school history last March with a 7-5 victory against Oakland University in Columbus, Ohio. Evan Fall contributed a goal and three assists to lead Hope en route to Tournament Most Valuable Player honors. Goalie Austin Kane made 36 saves.

This season, Hope is off to a 2-0 start after sweeping Northwood University, 8-4 and 11-0, last weekend.
