
Hope College’s Logan Bylsma has been chosen to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Teams selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The junior from Hudsonville, Michigan (Hudsonville HS) is one of 12 Division III men's
soccer student-athletes chosen to Google Cloud Academic All-America Second Team and
one of 33 honorees overall within the division.
Bylsma is pursuing an accounting major at Hope College with an emphasis on public
accounting. He carries a 3.90 grade point average.
On the field, Bylsma led the Flying Dutchmen in goal scoring this season with 14 in
18 matches. He contributed seven game-winning goals as Hope finished with a 14-3-1
overall record.
Bylsma joins Curtis Blankespoor (1987) as a Hope College CoSIDA Academic All-American
in men’s soccer.
Bylsma received Google Cloud Academic All-District honors in voting by CoSIDA members
to become eligible for Academic All-America consideration.
The Division III Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is financially supported
by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling
the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Division III Academic All-America®
teams.
CoSIDA was founded in 1957 and is a 3,000+ member national organization comprised
of the sports public relations, media relations and communications/information professionals
throughout all levels of collegiate athletics in the United States and Canada.
