Hope College’s Amanda Bandrowski has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women’s Tennis Player of the Week.

The junior from Traverse City, Michigan (St. Francis HS) is receiving the award for the first time this season and the third time in her career.

Bandrowski won her No. 2 singles flight during the Flying Dutch’s 6-3 loss at 10th-ranked University of Chicago on Saturday. She defeated Lauren Park 6-3, 6-3.

Hope is ranked 39th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association NCAA Division III poll.
