Josh Gibson, Andrew Goble, Ben Kramer, Daniel Settecerri and Noah Weigle are among 61 recipients, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Tuesday during a banquet at the NCAA Championships in Nicholasville, Kentucky.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be:

A junior or senior academically and compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level
Participate in 50-percent of his team’s competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA Championships
Have a stroke average under 79.0 in Division III and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2
Be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

Gibson and Goble have Scholar All-Americans for the second time in their careers. They, along with Kramer, graduated earlier this month.

Gibson was an engineering major from Grandville, Michigan (Grandville HS). Goble was a senior business major from Brighton, Michigan (Brighton). Kramer was a senior business major from Spring Lake, Michigan (Spring Lake).

Settecerri is a junior from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Bloomfield Hills), while Weigle is a junior from Grandville, Michigan (Grandville). Both are biology majors.

Hope led a group of five schools with at least three Scholar All-Americans: Washington & Lee (4), Emory (3), Huntingdon (3) and Otterbein (3).

“It is really satisfying,” head coach Scott Lokers said. “The award goes to the quality of student-athletes we have at Hope and on our golf team. They are all friends. They all pull for each other and push each other on the golf course and in the classroom.”
