Hope College’s Ana Tucker has been chosen as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
The junior from Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow HS) is receiving the honor for the second time in her cross country career.
Tucker clocked the fastest 6K time among non-NCAA Division I entrants at the Michigan State University Spartan Invitational on Friday.
The exercise science major finished the course at Forest Akers East Golf Course in East Lansing, Michigan in 21 minutes, 59.7 seconds.
Tucker placed sixth overall in the 236-runner field. There were competitors from NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and community colleges.
