Hope College forward Olivia Voskuil is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week.

The senior from Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian HS) averaged 14.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 blocks during two Flying Dutch victories last week. Hope improved to 10-0 on the season and extended its win streak to 39 games — the longest active win streak in NCAA Division III.

On Saturday, Voskuil scored 12 points on 62.5 percent field-goal shooting (5-8) during an 89-56 victory at Calvin. She also grabbed six rebounds and registered a season-high four assists while helping Hope beat Calvin for the 10th consecutive time — a program-best.

On Wednesday, Voskuil equaled her season-high with 16 points on 57.1 percent shooting from the field (8-14) during a 98-62 home victory against Alma. She also pulled down nine rebounds and blocked three shots.

This is the second time in Voskuil’s career she has claimed the MIAA’s weekly honor.
