Hope College’s Ana Tucker has been voted as the 2021 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Great Lakes Region Women’s Track Athlete of the Year for NCAA Division III.

The sophomore from Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow HS) is one of eight USTFCCCA Regional Track Athletes of the Year in Division III.

A vote of USTFCCCA member coaches determined the honorees. Only those individuals from USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.

Tucker has qualified for this week’s NCAA Division III Championships in Greensboro, N.C. She will run the 5,000 meters on Saturday.

Tucker is ranked third nationally in the 5,000 meters with a season-best run of 16 minutes, 37.99 seconds and eighth nationally in the 1,500 with a season-best time of 4:32.25. She set an MIAA record in the 1,500 on May 7 at Alma College.
