The Hope College women’s golf team has earned the 2020-21 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team Award.

The award recognizes the women’s collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA which includes all of the team’s student-athletes for the 2020-21 season.

Twenty-five teams from each NCAA division and the NAIA were selected.

The Flying Dutch, led by head coach Greg Stafford, recorded a 3.61 GPA while also finishing runner-up in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association spring season.

“We’re blessed to have a core of hard-working student-athletes on our golf team,” Stafford said. “This was a team goal for us this year. We were so close last year.”
