Hope College finished 28th in the final LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings for the NCAA Division III.
During the 2021-22 school year, Hope teams totaled 533 points. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in NCAA Championships.
This spring, Hope placed 17th in women’s tennis after reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament, 22nd in men’s golf, and 46th in outdoor women’s track and field.
Last winter, Hope finished as national champion in women’s basketball, 19th in women’s swimming and diving, 34th in indoor men’s track and field, 46th in men’s swimming and diving, and played in the first round of the men’s basketball NCAA Tournament.
Last fall, Hope placed ninth in women’s cross country, reached the regional finals of the NCAA women’s volleyball tournament and played in the first round of the NCAA women’s soccer tournament.
It is Hope’s seventh Top-30 finish in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings.
Hope has finished in the top 70 among 448 NCAA Division III programs each year since the program was started for Division III.
The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
