The Diversity Awards were presented on Friday, April 28 at 9 am in the Bultman Student Center Great Room. Awards from the Center for Diversity and Inclusion, Culture and Inclusive Excellence and Disability and Accessibility Resources were given to graduating seniors and others from Hope College.
The Catalyst Summit at Hope College, subtitled “Access and Innovation in Higher Education,” brought together thought leaders from a variety of fields — including bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell — to consider new ideas and spark meaningful conversations about how to fix higher education’s broken funding model.
At the recent Catalyst Summit, hosted by Hope College and Malcolm Gladwell, thought leaders convened to discuss a new “pay-it-forward” model for higher education that will allow students to attend college without paying or borrowing money upfront.
A team of four Hope College students participated in the Michigan University Model Arab League Conference that was held on Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 16-18, at Grand Valley State University.
