    Hope Jazz Groups to Present Concerts on Nov. 14 and Nov. 20

    Several Hope College jazz ensembles will present concerts on two different nights. Four different jazz chamber ensembles will perform on Wednesday, Nov. 14, and the Jazz Arts Collective and Jazz Organ Trio will perform on Tuesday, Nov. 20. Both concerts will take place at 7:30 p.m. in the John and Dede Howard Recital Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

    “One Night Only” Film Series Featuring Jimmy Stewart to Begin Nov. 19

    The Hope College Knickerbocker Theatre will show four films featuring Jimmy Stewart during its “One Night Only” series every Monday from Nov. 19 to Dec. 10 at 7:30 p.m. The series will screen “Harvey,” “Rear Window,” “The Shop Around the Corner” and “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

    Christmas Vespers Tickets to Be Sold Beginning Nov. 5

    Tickets for the popular annual Hope College Christmas Vespers services, a 77-year tradition, will be sold to the public beginning on Monday, Nov. 5, at the Events and Conferences Office in the Anderson-Werkman Financial Center.

    KAM and LSO to Host “Dia de los Muertos” Community Celebration

    The Kruizenga Art Museum and the Latino Student Organization at Hope College will host a Dia de los Muertos Community Day on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the museum. The collaborative event will feature family-friendly crafts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., an authentic ofrenda constructed by the Latino Student Organization, and a presentation about the ofrenda given by members of the Latino Student Organization at 11:30 a.m.

    Hope College Theatre to Present “Crooked” on Oct. 10-14

    The Department of Theatre at Hope College will present “Crooked” on Wednesday-Sunday, Oct. 10-13, at 7:30 p.m., with two additional matinees on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13-14, at 2 p.m. The matinee on October 14 will be free of charge. All performances will be in the DeWitt Center studio theatre.

    Beijing Guitar Duo to Perform on October 12

    The Beijing Guitar Duo will perform at Hope College on Friday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the John and Dede Howard Recital Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.
