Professional Experience

Laura worked as a social worker at Freedom Village for three years to provide support for its residents and family during a transitional time in care. Most recently, Laura was the technical specialist team lead at a community college in northern New York, assisting students with admissions, registration and financial aid needs.

Why I love Hope

Laura loves how welcoming Hope’s campus is. Whether it’s staff greeting you to an office or students walking in Pine Grove, you will always receive a welcome with a smile! Hope is a place that encourages individuals to chase both their educational and personal dreams with the strength of its community.

Outside the College

Laura loves traveling and trying new food with her husband. She enjoys taking pictures at the top of a mountain or end of a long trail after having to receive motivational pep talks along with way. She loves to be by the water with a good book, watching movies and ending the day going on a walk with her dog.
