Faculty Personnel Policies
B13 Policy on Public Affairs
- All members of the College faculty
are encouraged to participate in lawful political and public activity,
so long as that activity takes place on their own time and at their
own expense, and so long as it does not jeopardize performance of their
responsibilities.
- While encouraging all such activity,
the College disassociates itself from the political activity of any
faculty member, supports no individual or party either with finance
or influence, and maintains an official neutrality towards the political
activity of any faculty member.
- It is proper and necessary that the
administration of the College concern itself with public and political
affairs which affect the College's economic or academic welfare. Information
concerning the administration's position is available from the Office
of Public Relations.
