Hope's Location on a Map

Hope offers a number of different options for prospective students and their families to visit campus. From individual visits to larger visit programs, you'll have many opportunities to explore Hope and see what it will be like to be a Hope student.

Traveling to Hope

Hope lives right in the heart of award-winning downtown Holland, Michigan. In 2010 Holland was named the "2nd Happiest Place to Live in America," and it shows. Vacationers flock to our fine city each summer, and since we are blocks from the shops and restaurants of 8th Street and just six miles from Lake Michigan, Hope students enjoy this resort town all year-round.

Visiting prospective students may have the opportunity to stay in a residence hall, and parents may stay in our on-campus Haworth Inn, or at one of many lodging options in the Holland area.

Flying to Hope? The nearest major airport is Gerald R. Ford International in Grand Rapids.

Traveling by train? Amtrak offers daily service from Chicago to Holland's Padnos Transportation Center, located just blocks from campus. On most days, Amtrak tickets for the purpose of a campus visit are buy one, get one 50% off.

Riding the bus? Indian Trails offers service to the transportation center as well.
