The Asian Studies program is designed for students who wish to develop their knowledge of Asian culture, history and thought in order to become more aware and responsive citizens of a globally integrated world.
It aims to broaden a student’s major program of study by adding a global, comparative perspective to any area of inquiry in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
The minor also helps to prepare students who desire careers in international affairs, international business and international law.
The Asian studies minor consists of:
- 20 credit hours
