International Food Fair
Maas Center Auditorium

Sponsored by the International Relations Club and Center for Global Engagement for over 30 years, the annual International Food Fair celebrates cuisines and cultures represented in the Hope community. Come sample food cooked by Hope students. Admission is $5 cash for an initial packet of five tickets, with additional tickets costing $0.50 each. Most dishes cost one or two tickets.

Does it Make Cents? Understanding the Cost of Studying Off-Campus

Did you know that over the past decade Hope students have received over $1 million in financial aid for off-campus study? Join us at this session to learn about the scholarships and aid available to you! Come with your questions and leave with resources on starting your journey. This session is hosted in partnership with the Financial Aid office.

Accessibility Abroad
135 Martha Miller Center (Fried-Hemenway Auditorium)

Yes, you can study off-campus with visible and invisible disabilities! Join us to learn practical steps in planning ahead. We will share valuable resources and tips regarding accommodations and support systems. This session is hosted in partnership with Disability and Accessibility Resources, HAIC and IES Abroad.

Queerly Abroad
135 Martha Miller Center (Fried-Hemenway Auditorium)

Attention all queer students, allies and anyone interested in learning more about the experiences of queer students studying abroad! From navigating cultural differences to finding safe and inclusive spaces, we will discuss practical tips and resources to help you navigate a new environment. This session is hosted in partnership with Prism and IES Abroad.

Come to learn about your options for an internship during a semester or summer off-campus! We will have representatives from The Philadelphia Center, Washington Honors Semester and the New York Arts Program to share about their semester-long internship programs. We’ll also have representatives from IES Abroad and TEAN Abroad to talk about international internship opportunities for the semester or summer term in Asia, Africa, Europe or Latin America. This session is hosted in partnership with the Boerigter Center.

Off-Campus Study Poster Showcase
Maas Center Conference Room

Drop in to learn about the experiences Hope students have had while studying abroad! Students who participated in research while abroad will also be sharing their findings from their rigorous, thematic independent research projects. Come and browse through the posters on display, chat with the students, and learn about their time off-campus. This session is hosted in partnership with the Provost's Office.

BIPOC Abroad
135 Martha Miller Center (Fried-Hemenway Auditorium)

What is it like to be a student of color abroad? Attention all BIPOC students, allies, and anyone interested in learning more about the experiences of BIPOC students abroad! We will hear from off-campus study returnees about their experiences of race and ethnicity in other countries. At the end of this session, you will have tangible resources and tips to help you prepare for an off-campus study program. This session is hosted in partnership with ASU, LSO, PASA, WOCU and IES Abroad.

Athletes Abroad - DeVos H Club Room

Can student athletes study off-campus? Yes! Join us at this session to learn about off-campus study opportunities for student athletes. Hear from Hope athletes who have spent a semester off-campus and gain tips on how to stay connected to your team while abroad. We will also have a representative from TEAN Abroad to talk about specific programs in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia with athletic facilities and options for kinesiology and exercise science students.

Global Health as Faith-Inspired Service

How might we embrace faith as our guide for serving this world? This session will explore opportunities for gaining global experience while investing in the well-being of others. Join us in conversation with leaders of the Reformed Church in America's global mission team and explore options for enhancing your college education with short and long-term global health experiential learning. This session is hosted in partnership with the Global Health Program.

Off-Campus Study Fair - Bultman Student Ctr Great Room

At the Off-Campus Study Fair, you'll get the chance to meet representatives from Hope-approved off-campus programs based in locations all across the US and around the world. This is a great way to explore your off-campus opportunities and find the program for you. We will have representatives from CIEE, College Year in Athens, Creation Care Studies Program, IES Abroad, Liverpool Hope University, New York Arts Program, Oregon Extension, SIT Study Abroad, Study Abroad Lithuania, TEAN Abroad, The Philadelphia Center, Washington Honors Semester and more. We’ll also have a number of off-campus study returnees displaying posters from their semesters abroad so you can learn about the student experience!

This session is for anyone interested in global missions — whether you want to spend one week, one month, or one year serving!
