Why I Love Hope

Katie loves Hope because of the wonderful community. Students have the opportunity to deepen their perspectives and pursue their passions in a highly rigorous academic setting. All with the consistent support of professors, classmates and friends. Katie also loves Hope’s campus in the fall!

Outsidee the College

Katie and her husband, Colin, live in Grand Haven with their two sons, Crew and Granger. She enjoys reading (or listening to an audiobook!), blueberry picking and watching Animal Planet. She’s a huge fan of Tillamook Ice Cream and being silly with her two boys!
