Dr. Logan Wigglesworth
Visiting Assistant Professor of PhilosophyLogan Wigglesworth joined Hope’s philosophy department in fall 2024 as a visiting assistant professor. He is interested in ethics, philosophy of emotion and aesthetics. Much of his interest is sparked by discussion with artists and arts faculty.

Logan asks questions like, “What is the role of emotion in moral understanding?” “What is the nature of emotions?” “What norms govern our engagements with specific artworks and genres?” He is currently writing on the aesthetics of contemporary worship music and how such music might cultivate virtue. “How does God ground aesthetic value?” He is also currently writing on how God might ground aesthetic value specifically in a fitting-attitude analysis of value.
