    Esther K. Chae to Present “Lights, Camera, Asian American Action!”

    Award winning actor, playwright and consultant Esther K. Chae will present “Lights, Camera, Asian American Action!” virtually as the 2021 Asian Heritage Lecture at Hope College on Thursday, April 22, at 6 p.m. EDT. Chae’s address will focus on her journey as a Korean American actor and artist.

    A total of 18 Hope College students will be presenting their collaborative faculty-student research during this year’s National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), being held as a virtual gathering on Monday-Wednesday, April 12-14.

    First Mellon Community-Based Partnership at Hope College

    The first round of funding to link community organizations with Hope College faculty and students, who together will address pressing needs in Holland area, has recently been awarded to three projects through a 42-month, $800,000 grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

    Hope College Collage Concert to Be Presented Online April 10

    The Department of Music at Hope College will present a collage concert on Saturday, April 10, at 7:30 p.m., with the live performance available for viewing online at hope.edu/live. The concert will feature the college’s major ensembles as well as selected student soloists and chamber ensembles.
