Hope College senior Ellen Colenbrander of
Holland, Mich. will compete in the NCAA Division III women's golf
championships for a fourth consecutive year.

Holland, Mich. will compete in the NCAA Division III women's golf
championships for a fourth consecutive year.

Colenbrander is one of ten individual golfers invited to
join members from 10 teams at the 60-player tournament to be held
May 16-19 at the Praire Vista Golf Course in Bloomington, Ill.

This is the first year that Division III has sponsored its
own national tournament. In prior years, the championship field
included Division II and III players.The tournament will
consist of four 18-hole rounds.

Colenbrander was medalist of the Michigan Intercollegiate
Athletic Association (MIAA) three of her four collegiate seasons,
including last fall. She was the league tournament medalist 18
times during her career and averaged 80.4 strokes per round last
fall.

As a freshman she finished 53rd at the national tournament.
She gained NCAA All-America status as a sophomore by finishing
seventh in a field of 63 golfers and last year ended 19th.
