The Hope College admissions office will sponsor a visit day for prospective college students on Friday, January 28.

While the college does not require personal visits to campus by prospective students, it does strongly recommend them.  Students and parents are encouraged to visit the Admissions Office, where campus tours, class visits and faculty conferences can be arranged.

Visit days are held frequently throughout the year and provide prospective students and their parents an opportunity to experience a day on campus.  Activities available include attending class, academic information sessions, eating lunch in the dining hall, and having a guided tour of the campus.

Visitors should meet at 8:30 a.m. in the MaasConference Center, located on the corner of 11th Street and Columbia Avenue.  Pre-registration is preferred and can be arranged by calling (616) 395-7850 or via the Internet at www.hope.edu/admissions/visit.

Participation is free.  A complimentary lunch is provided for students and parents wishing to eat lunch in the dining hall.

Dates for future visit days during the 2010-11 school year are Feb. 4, Feb. 21, and March 4.  Junior days are scheduled for Fridays, April 1, April 8, and April 15.

Additional information may be obtained at the Admissions Office's web site, www.hope.edu/admissions.
