Hope College topped NCAA Division III in home attendance in three sports during the 2013-14 school year: volleyball, women’s basketball and men’s basketball.

It is the sixth consecutive season Hope has led the nation in both men’s and women’s basketball home attendance.

Hope co-athletic director Tim Schoonveld called the feats great recognition for the college’s men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams, Hope College and the Holland community.

“This is further evidence that we have the best fans in the nation,” Schoonveld said. “The support by the college community and greater Holland community is a continued blessing for all of us within the athletic department. We are grateful for this partnership that allows for lives to be impacted in many ways and our thanks go out to all who support our teams so faithfully. We are proud of this recognition.”
