The Hope College women’s track & field team’s distance medley relay has earned Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Track Athlete of the Week honors for meets through February 7.

Hope’s distance medley relay recorded a first-place effort at the Hillsdale College
Wide Track Classic last
weekend that ranks as the sixth-fastest nationally in NCAA Division III.

The relay turned in a winning time of 12 minutes, 20.01 seconds to edge Indiana Tech
at the finish line.
The performance was the fastest in the event for the Flying Dutch in outdoor or indoor
competition.
