Five members of the Hope College women’s indoor track & field team have earned all-region recognition from the United States Track & Field Cross Country and Track & Field Coaches Association for the 2017 season.

Senior Erin Herrmann of Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton-Warrenville South HS), junior Alison Rich of Haslett, Michigan (Haslett), junior Rachael Webb of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grandville), sophomore Avery Lowe of North Muskegon, Michigan (North Muskegon), and freshman Chelsea Miskelley of Holland, Michigan (Black River) were selected.

To be named All-Region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top-5 of an individual event in the region according to final TFRRS data or be part of a top-3 relay team.

Herrmann received all-region honors in the 3,000 meters and the distance medley relay.

Webb was recognized in the 800 meters and distance medley relay along with Lowe and Miskelley.

Rich is all-region in the pentathlon.
