Three Hope College women’s soccer players have claimed all-region honors from the United Soccer Coaches for the 2017 season: forwards Grace Bubin and Allie Wittenbach and midfielder Rylie Dalton.

Bubin and Wittenbach were among five first-team forwards in the Central Region. Dalton was a second-team midfielder.

Bubin led the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association regular-season and tournament champion Flying Dutch with a career-high 11 goals this season.

The junior from Rockford, Michigan (Rockford) also recorded a career-high five assists for Hope, which set a school record for wins with a 19-3-1 overall record after advancing to the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship.

Bubin is the 10th different Flying Dutch player to reach double-digit goals in a season.

Wittenbach topped Hope with a career-high seven assists this season. The senior from Ada, Michigan (Forest Hills Central) also collected seven goals.

Wittenbach completed her career with 26 goals and 20 assists. She is tied for eighth all-time in team history in goals and is alone in eighth place with 20 assists.

Dalton equaled her career high with eight goals this season. The junior from Rockford, Michigan (Rockford) also had a career-high five assists.
