This year’s Christmas Vespers service was recorded for radio and will be featured on multiple Michigan stations this year. In addition, while this was not a televised year, PBS station WGVU-HD in West Michigan will be re-airing the televised 2021 service, which has also been made available to other PBS stations nationwide. This year’s audio program is also available on the college’s website, and video of the 2021 service is available on the college’s YouTube channel.
The radio stations carrying this year’s service are:
- WCHT 600 AM, 93.5 FM in Escanaba, on Saturday, Dec. 24, at noon.
- WFUR 92.9 FM and 1570 AM in Grand Rapids, on Wednesday, Dec. 14; Friday, Dec. 16; Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m.
- WHCB Radio, 91.5 FM in the Bristol/Kingsport/Johnson City market. Covering Tennessee,
Virginia, and
parts of western North Carolina, on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m. - WHTC, 1450 AM and 99.7 FM in Holland, will broadcast the program on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m.
- WTHS 89.9 FM in Holland on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 25, at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The audio program is available on the college’s website along with past Vespers services.
PBS station WGVU will show the televised 2021 Vespers service on Saturday, Dec. 24,
at 11 p.m., and
Sunday, Dec. 25, at 8 a.m., noon and 7 p.m. Those living elsewhere should check their
local listings to
see if the station in their area will be carrying the program.
