A league-leading 20 Hope College teams claimed the MIAA Team GPA Award for the 2025-26 academic year.
The MIAA has presented the Team GPA Award annually since the 1998-99 academic year.
Women’s basketball, led by head coach Brian Morehouse, earned a 3.74 grade-point average, the highest among Hope teams.
Women’s golf, led by head coach Megan Radaz, recorded a 3.71 GPA.
Women’s cross country, led by head coach Mark Northuis, posted a 3.66 GPA. Led by head coach Mark Northuis, the Flying Dutch are one of two MIAA teams to have earned the accolade every year since the award started.
Women’s indoor track and field, led by head coach Jordan Bartolazzi, earned a 3.70 GPA that topped its sport.

Women’s soccer, led by head coach Holly Van Noord, posted a 3.67 GPA.
Women’s tennis, led by head coach Austin Hunt, earned a 3.65 GPA.
Women’s lacrosse, led by head coach Keagan Pieri, recorded a 3.56 GPA.
Volleyball, led by head coach Becky Schmist, posted a 3.52 GPA.
Men’s golf, led by head coach Scott Lokers, earned a 3.51 GPA, topping its sport.
Softball, led by head coach Michelle Brander Metiva, recorded a 3.51 GPA.
Men’s lacrosse, led by head coach Michael Schanhals, posted a 3.50 GPA that topped its sport.
Men’s soccer, led by head coach David Blahnik, earned a 3.50 GPA that tied for the highest in its sport.
Women’s swimming and diving, led by head coach Jake Taber, recorded a 3.44 GPA.
