Madi Steinman is a sophomore studying global health and communication with a minor in leadership. While she isn’t sure what field she wants to work in, she is interested in the cultivation of virtue within sectors such as health communication, higher education and sustainable community development. Outside of working for the Character Hub, she is a member of the Lambda Pi Eta (communication honor society) executive board, an administrative intern for Hope Forward and co-president of Hope Forward’s Outreach Committee. She loves working out, collecting vinyl records, hiking, a good antique store and grabbing coffee or sushi with friends.

Gabriel Shade is a junior from Winfield, Illinois. He is studying business and Spanish with a concentration in finance. He is involved in many programs and organizations around campus, such as the Center for Leadership Student Consulting program, Residential Life, Hope Forward and Sigma Delta Pi, and he is a member of the Fraternal Society.

Denisse is a computer science and economics student from Peru. She’s currently a sophomore and is interested in going into software development and exploring the integration of technology and social entrepreneurship. She is the founder and director of an educational NGO back in Peru. On Hope’s campus, she’s an RA, the public relations chair for the International Relations Club and a student software developer for the Hope Software Institute. She’s also a TA and tutor for computer science and economics. On her free time she enjoys reading, baking, singing and working on programming little projects.
