Strategic Plan

The Character Hub weaves past character initiatives more deeply into the fabric of campus and connects them to current and newly developed efforts in order to create a comprehensive and growing environment distinctly marked by gratitude and generosity.

Vision

The Hope Character Hub will:

• Coordinate the current character education efforts on campus by chronicling the stories of Hope’s past efforts at character development and education and by communicating the stories of Hope’s present character development and education efforts.
• Accelerate character development by funding character education efforts and promoting events related to character education on campus.
• Catalyze new initiatives related to character education by identifying areas in which we can grow our character education efforts in order to expand the reach of Hope’s character education within our community and beyond.
• Connect the curricular, co-curricular and research efforts on character education across campus through academic, programming and community efforts in order to integrate character education efforts further into the fabric of Hope College so that our community and its individuals grow in generosity and gratitude.
