Angie Yetzke (modern, jazz, ballet, Laban Movement Analysis) holds a Master
of Fine Arts in Choreography/Performance from the University of WI - Milwaukee
and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Western MI University. She is currently
pursuing her CMA (Certified Movement Analyst) degree from the Laban Institute
of Movement Studies in NYC. Angie’s creative research includes the
integration of voice and movement and site-specific improvisation. Her
site-specific choreographic work, "Intent Made Tangible," was
presented in the 2011 international ArtPrize. She is the co-founder of “Dance
In The Annex” (DITA), a resource for local professional dancers,
and was founder and director of the UICA Dance Collaborative (1999-2003).
During that time she was awarded the 2002 New Choreography Award through
the MI Dance Council.
