Angie Yetzke (modern, jazz) is the co-founder of “Dance
In The Annex” (DITA), a resource for local professional dancers,
and was founder and director of the UICA “Dance Collaborative (1999-2003).
During that time she was awarded the 2002 New Choreography Award
through the MI Dance Council. Angie’s creative research includes
the integration of voice and movement, site-specific improvisation,
and the somatic practices
of Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals and Alexander
Technique. Her site-specific choreographic work was presented in
the 2011 international
ArtPrize. Angie is an MFA candidate at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee,
anticipated graduation in 2012.
