Professor TenHaken joined the faculty
at Hope College in 2000. She spent her 2007/2008 sabbatical
teaching at the Krakow University of Economics in Poland on a
Fulbright scholarship. She has returned to teach in their International
Executive MBA program.
Prior to entering academia, Professor TenHaken worked for 25+ years
in leadership positions at General Electric and Herman Miller,
Inc. She has experience at the executive
level in marketing, strategic planning, and new business
development as well as professional experience
in human resource management. Professor TenHaken's research on
corporate longevity has been quoted extensively in national press
and she also presents at international conferences
on this topic. She has been married to John Meshkin for over
35 years and they have two children. Vicki enjoys experiential
learning by traveling to, living and working in different cultures.
