Donald Friesner
Director of Institutional ResearchDonald started working at the Frost Research Center in November 2021. He provides leadership and planning for institutional data to help the college and individual departments with decision-making and external reporting. He leads a team in developing data governance for the college and ensures that data reporting to government agencies, accrediting bodies, ranking organizations, funders and others is accurate and in compliance with reporting requirements.

Professional Experience
Before joining Hope College, Donald was the senior research analyst in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness at Ball State University from 2017 to 2021, and a research analyst in the Office of Institutional Research at Central Michigan University from 2012 to 2017.
