Why I Love Hope
Gerald love Hope’s commitment to be faithful, welcoming and transformational! These three aspirations represent the best of what a college community has to offer during such a key season in a student’s life. He’s also drawn to the Hope Forward program and its vision for reciprocity and generosity. Living in the Middle East, he had firsthand exposure to the way seeds of love and friendship planted over a century ago by women and men like Samuel Zwemer (a Hope alumnus) are bearing rich fruit in that region. He’s encouraged to think about the way seeds being planted now will bear fruit for generations to come!
Outside the College
Gerald loves drinking coffee, road-tripping and spending time with his wife, Beth, his sons and their wives, and their delightful granddaughter, Mags!
