Hope College, in conjunction with the Michigan Student Financial Aid Association (MSFAA), will host a financial aid application workshop on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Maas Center auditorium.

The event is open to all interested individuals who wish to learn more about the financial aid process. Admission is free.

The workshop will include general financial aid information and a review of how to complete the 2003-04 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The presentation will address the application for all college and university types: public, private and vocational/technical. Peggy Klaasen, financial aid counselor at Hope, will be the presenter.

January is Financial Aid Awareness Month in Michigan. Its goal is to sensitize students and families regarding the availability of financial assistance for college and how to apply for such assistance.

The Maas Center is located on Columbia Avenue at 11th Street.
