The Hope College Wind Symphony will perform on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 8 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The evening's program offers an assortment of pieces, including works by Vaughan Williams and Charles Gounod, the "March" from the "Symphonic Metamorphosis" by Paul Hindemith, and a fresh setting of the choral piece "O Magnum Mysterium" by Morton Lauridsen.

The program will end with a performance of a work by the Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer, Joseph Schwantner. The piece, based on the poem, "And The Mountains Rising Nowhere" by Carol Adler, has been composed with the unconventional effects of water gongs and crystal glasses that amplify the poem's life and feelings.

Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located on College Avenue at 12th Street.
