For the fifth consecutive year, both Hope College basketball teams are headed to the NCAA Division III championships.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Flying Dutchmen (21-7) will be headed to Wisconsin for a first round game in the
NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament this weekend. The Flying Dutchmen, making
their fifth straight appearance in the tournament and the 21st in school history,
will meet St. Norbert, Wisc. (22-3) in the first round on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT followed
by host UW-Stevens Point (23-4) meeting Carleton, Minn. (19-9). The winners will meet
on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Flying Dutch (27-1) will host first and second round games in the NCAA Division
III women's tournament beginning Friday the DeVos Fieldhouse. DePauw, Ind. (25-3)
will meet Lakeland, Wisc. (22-6) at 5:30 p.m. Friday followed by the Flying Dutch
(27-1) playing Denison, Ohio (25-3). The Flying Dutch are making their fifth straight
appearance in the tournament and the 12th in school history. The winners will meet
at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
